Permission to Reprint
Thank you for your interest in our award-winning website content.
If you are ready to apply for reprint permission, please download our Permission Request and Agreement Form in WORD format.
Please read the Frequently Asked Questions to help speed UP the request and approval process.
Why is it necessary for me to get permission?
If you reproduce copyrighted work or trademarks without first obtaining the owner's permission you are infringing on the rights of the copyright owner. Infringement leaves you vulnerable to lawsuits from the copyright or trademark owner. We take our rights seriously, and we will enforce our rights.
Is it difficult to get permission?
The application process is quite straightforward. Please download the Permission Request and Agreement Form in WORD format here.
Why can't I just call someone and get permission?
We do not grant reprint permission verbally, in person or over the phone. Requests for permission must be written down and signed by you, and if granted, by us. Written permission ensures we have a clear understanding, and thereby protects us both.
The most efficient way to get permission is to use the Permission Request and Agreement Form.
Why don't we have a price list for reprint rights?
The financial arrangements with you will vary with the type of permission granted. For example, reprint rights for a book will be more than for a short article. Reprint rights for one-time academic will be different from ongoing rights to sell our content.
How quickly can I get permission?
We will contact you within 30 days after we receive your fully completed Permission Request and Agreement Form. If we can respond sooner, we will. Please note that a fully completed form will always be responded to most quickly.
What is the fastest way to get permission?
Download the Permission Request and Agreement Form, complete it using your word processor and send it back to us by e-mail. Put "Reprint Permission" in the subject line, and be sure to attach the completed form.
